Bad and poor hotel thats not deserve even a one single star.

I start my review of the hotel with bad treatment and poor cleanliness. Technology is non existent here. Very small rooms . This is not Dubai. We asked to cancel the reservation and our request was not responded to. In the entire hotel there is only one swimming pool, and its size is very small and can barely accommodate the hotel residents. I couldn't find anything truly positive to talk about or to thank the hotel for. Added to that, we are on a honeymoon. This hotel is considered five stars. But in reality, it does not deserve a single star.

The best dine in experience in AOC restaurant. different variety of dishes in the buffet. Modern architecture in the restaurant. The staff are very polite and hospitable specially Gopi the manager, Roj, Sijo, Lingga & Aichurok who are taking care of us and made our dinner extra ordinary. KEEP IT UP!!!

AOC Plantation for Dinner** We celebrated my mother-in-law’s 78th birthday and they surprised her with song and a cake. She was almost in tears when they surprised her. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the staff Navesn, Sijo, Sameer, Linggar they were all professional. It also had a nice view of the Ain Dubai outside the restaurant.

After my 9 days here, we really couldn’t fault it. From arriving to leaving the staff have been very welcoming and helpful. Room was always very clean and tidy everyday. Vinith made sure we always had everything we needed in the room, eg more water. Great view, we had limited sea view but amazing view of the wheel. Breakfast selection was good, evening meal selection was lacking a little bit but I’m quite fussy so could just be my own doing. Special mention to Linggar who welcomed us with a big smile every morning and took us to our table. She was lovely! Pool area was slightly small but we got out early so had a sun longer all day. Around 11 ish is when the pool area gets busy and loungers get taken up, Only one day had to wait about 15 minutes for a sun lounger but the lifeguard got us one quickly! We didn’t mind waiting. This hotel is in a great spot, shops and restaurants all around, beach a 2 minute walk. Only 30 mins from the airport and mall. Only 15 minutes from the palm. Really couldn’t fault this hotel. It has been brilliant from start to finish. Just a shame I didn’t stay longer!

Beautiful and serene environment coupled with awesome customer service and great food. I love Sofitel and would always come back whenever I come to dubai. Love the location and the beach view. Varieties of food at the restaurant for buffet and all taste great.
