Not my first time here staying in this hotel but the customer service has gone down hill fast. The staff could not even answer basic questions. Google refreshed my memory about metro lines but the front desk is less than useless. Had broken fixtures in the rooms, there only response was “Sorry, move rooms”. So I spent 2 hours of my vacation packing up and switching rooms. Not acceptable. Novotel has gone downhill fast!!

If I could give a zero I would. Bed broken, staff dismissive to any issue, especially the manager at the front desk. I have stayed here several times but NEVER again. Do not stay here. I think someone needs to take a really good look at the staff and their idea of customer service.

We were three people in a room with a queen size bed, and a pull out which would’ve been fine. But, on the second night, the pull out broke. We stuffed pillows under to hold up the frame. We came back from a day of touring to find the bed in the same exact shape.

Two night weekend stay with partner and child - would never go back; Firstly and worst of all - we’ve come back bitten all over by bedbugs. Absolutely horrifying. Even without the bedbugs: The child’s pull out sofa-bed mattress was beyond uncomfortable. This is not a four-star hotel; everything is bare bones, e.g paper cups in the room for the tea/coffee. No room service beyond 10.30pm. Not a single USB charging socket in the whole room and only one plug socket. Baffling in 2024. Paid for exec breakfast (which did allow us to avoid the incredibly long lines in the main breakfast hall) but told no when asked for an omelette. Then observed another family being brought omelettes. Checked again and an omelette was very grudgingly ordered for me. All very odd. Could not recommend this hotel and would not go back.

The hotel has a very strategic location. The rooms and facilities are a little outdated but good. Somehow the check-in process often takes long time (not because the number of guests checking in but because of a somehow cumbersome process). Breakfast quality is very good, however the breakfast space appears undersized for the number of guests. Being a buffet breakfast, at peak hours it is almost impossible to move around.
