This was my wife's first visit to Paris, and the team at Sofitel made it unforgettable. From the stunning room view to their impeccable attention throughout our stay, their service was truly unmatched. As avid travelers, we appreciate exceptional places like this. After coming from another Sofitel in Marrakesh, where we experienced the same high standards, we canceled our original hotel plans in Paris—and I’m so glad we did. Special thanks to Sean for leading such an outstanding team. Exceptional service like this clearly stems from strong leadership. From now on, I’ll be choosing Sofitel whenever possible.

Cramped room; low quality food

This is not a 5* hotel. Standard room is cramped - why put a chair in the room (218) which means you cannot access the wardrobe? Shower was adequate but again small. Why put a shaving mirror above the basin on such a stiff mount that it cannot be moved out of the way and you hang your head on if leaning over the basin? Room was hot on arrival as a/c was switched off - this should have been switched on. Breakfast - gaudy old plates referencing someone called Lordy. Paper napkins. Fresh fruit salad had just 3 items - no berries, banana etc. Cooked food was tasteless - scrambled egg watery. Minuscule portion of mushrooms. Potato cake obviously mass produced. The minimum amount of money is clearly being spent on ingredients and it shows. - about the same standard as an Ibis!
