Great location and hotel was very nice too! Very close to public transportation and in walking distance to many of the old sections of Amsterdam. Hotel staff always friendly and hellpful. The breakfast in the morning had a very nice assortment. Rooms, as expected in this part of town are a little smaller than you would have in younger cities. However, the rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

It is a 4-star hotel, and breakfast was included in our stay. However, the food was consistently of substandard quality. The buffet was basic and presented in an unappetizing manner. The warm food was not warm—every time I had bacon, it was cold. The scrambled eggs were lukewarm and watery. Additionally, the staff was mostly inattentive, providing virtually no service. The "wait here to be seated" sign was just a sign. Just report at the desk and sit where you like. Compared to other 4-star hotels like the nearby Park Plaza Victoria, the breakfast at the Ink Hotel was inferior and not worth the money.

We were recommended this hotel by our travel agent and booked a "classic double room." However, the only "classic" thing about the room was its size—it felt like it was taken from a dollhouse. The room was so small that we had to leave our luggage in the entryway and climb over it to get inside. After complaining, we were upgraded to a decent room for an additional €50 per night. In comparison, the Park Plaza Victoria, just 300 meters away, is of a much higher standard. This hotel should not be rated on the same level.

Looks chic, but messed up! Dubious intentions.

Rooms are small , dark and claustrophobic. Poorly designed. Polar in design, some appreciate the quirkiness. But the service is this hotel is the worse that it gets, does not even deserve 1 star. The biggest problem is their KITCHEN - you go the restaurant at 9:15PM they say the kitchen is too full (not the restaurant), can’t take orders even though we open till 10PM. Ordered room service next day (supposed to be 24hours with a limited menu ) and in that also the Soup & Pizza were not available ? I mean seriously , this is a 4 star and priced decently. Couldn’t even get to speak with the GM, got adjusted with Carl (commercial manager- instead) Also, now that I look back at my account I see even the points credited for ALL are messed up, status points for only 1 room and not even equal to the amount paid. I do think the property intentions aren’t right at all and would definitely recommend skipping this hotel for the purpose of leisure- ALL members specially.

A gem, not to be missed.

The staff are so helpful, friendly and professional. They are simply superb. The upgraded room was highly functional, clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are extremely good. Situated a 12 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal it would hard to beat. Trams run right out front and there are so many restaurants near by.
