The EU organic awards are an opportunity to recognise the work of various actors along the organic value chain that has developed an excellent, innovative, sustainable, and inspiring project producing real added value for organic production and consumption.
2024 Awards ceremony
The winners of the third EU organic awards were handed their prize during a ceremony organised on 23 September 2024, which is EU organic day. The event involved representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions, COPA-COGECA and IFOAM Organics Europe.

The third EU Organic Awards ceremony was conducted to honour the people, organisations, and enterprises who have created creative, innovative, long-lasting projects centred on organic farming and food.
As part of the EU Organic Day, eight awards were handed to different EU actors, including farmers, retailers, and food processors, who exemplified excellence along the organic value chain.
Participants also had the chance to talk about the sector's future development and the successes of the EU Action Plan for the Development of Organic Production.
