STEP ONE: SET YOUR GOALS
Research studies consistently indicate that having goals makes a significant difference in creating success, and the biographies of high achievers throughout history bear out the research, but how you design your goals can make all the difference in the world.
1. Think big: Your goals have to be big enough to get you out of bed — to make you feel motivated even before you push the switch. Just being “a little more efficient at work”, or “losing 5lb” is rarely a big enough target to aim at. As Donald Trump has said, “You have 50,000 thoughts a day — might as well make them big ones!”
Write your goals down, describe them in vivid detail and imagine living them.
