November 5th is an important day for this country! Burnsville middle school students are practicing casting their vote and preparing for a future decision that would impact this country! We’re so thankful for teachers that stress how important voting is for our citizens and county! Great things are happening at Burnsville!

SREB college literacy class held a biotechnology symposium where seniors presented to middle school students the technological advances and studies being performed today.
Swayze Waldrop and her mother, Ronica, pictured for winning a $50 Gas Gift Card to 76 Gas Station in Burnsville for Perfect Perfect Attendance the week of October 7-11. Swayze had no check ins or check outs, no tardies, and no absentees. Thanks for making Attendance an important part of your students' education. Great things are happening at Burnsville!
After much discussion, the TCSD School Board of Trustees approved changes to the student device/cell phone policy (Policy JE) at the July 18th public board meeting. These changes were made to eliminate the distractions of cell phone use, notifications, smart watches, etc. during the school day in order to provide the best educational setting for learning to occur.
