Resolve the 7E reflector error in your Samsung Waterwall dishwasher
The 7E reflector error in Samsung Waterwall dishwashers indicates an issue with the movement of the WaterWall reflector. This error typically arises when the reflector is blocked, incorrectly positioned, or improperly installed. Fortunately, most instances of this error can be resolved through simple troubleshooting steps.
Note: This guide is applicable to Waterwall dishwashers available in Canada.
Ensure that the WaterWall reflector is not obstructed by items like pot handles or utensils. In newly installed dishwashers, check for and remove any packing tape along the top of the guide rail. This tape can be accessed easily by removing the bottom rack.
Correct positioning of the WaterWall reflector is crucial. The WaterWall logo should face forwards and upwards when positioned correctly.
If the reflector is installed incorrectly, gently lift and remove it from the vane, rotate it to the correct orientation, and reseat it on the gray shuttle along the WaterWall rail.
If the error persists despite correct installation, perform a power cycle. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker for two minutes, then turn it back on. This can help clear the error code and reset the system.
It's crucial to repeat the troubleshooting steps, especially checking for obstructions and ensuring correct assembly. Additionally, another power cycle might be necessary to clear the error.
