Rhodes and Crosstown Arts’ Special Event Focuses on Artist H.C. Westermann, Who Coped with Trauma Through Art Making

Prof. David McCarthy, chair of the Department of Art and Art History, has helped to organize a two-day event in Memphis—presented by Crosstown Arts and Rhodes' Lillian and Morrie Moss Endowment for the Visual Arts—featuring the 3-D documentary film, Westermann: Memorial to the Idea of Man If He Was an Idea about the artist's compelling journey to cope with post-traumatic stress disorder through art making.

Rhodes Celebrated for Beauty in Southern Living
