"Michigan, home to thousands of our hero veterans, is dedicated to supporting its large veteran community. The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA), created in 2013, is the central coordinating agency, providing support, care, advocacy, and service to veterans and their families."
At the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, we work hard to provide veterans and their families with the resources and connections you need to be successful and have earned through service. The Michigan Veterans Resource Service Center (MVRSC) helps veterans and their families access discharge documents, get connected to Veteran Service Officers and find services to assist in their needs.
If you would like to speak to a technician with the MVRSC, call 800-MICH-VET (800-642-4838). Our technicians are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Trained 211 agents are available after hours, guaranteeing someone can take your call 24/7. The MVRSC can perform check-ins on Michigan veterans to connect veterans with their benefits. To request a check-in, please click on the Check on MIVet form.
