  • An inter-municipal development planA municipal development plan
  • An area structure plan
  • An area redevelopment plan
  • A land-use bylaw

Bylaw 1196 -2024 – Proposed amendment to Land Use Bylaw 

  • Public notice for Bylaw 1196-2024 proposes the removal of references to the City of Leduc/Leduc County Intermunicipal Development Plan and other administrative amendments, and amendments to Notification and Advertising requirements 
  • Second and third readings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Nov. 25, 2024 
  • First reading on Nov. 18

Bylaw 1197 -2024 – Proposed Advertising Bylaw 

  • Public notice for Bylaw 1197-2024 proposes an Advertising Bylaw that specifies the types of advertising and notification methods that City Administration will use to communicate bylaws, resolutions, meetings, public hearings, or other items within Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act. 
  • Second and third readings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Nov. 25, 2024 
  • First reading on Nov. 18

Notice of application - Reapproval of natural gas franchise agreement

  • Notice of application to be filed for reapproval of the natural gas franchise agreement between the City of Leduc and Apex Utilities Inc. The franchise agreement will, subject to further renewal, continue to allow Apex Utilities Inc. the exclusive right to deliver natural gas to the residents of the City of Leduc for approximately 10 years from the effective date of the franchise agreement.
  • Send any objections, concerns about, or support for the application in writing to Apex Utilities Inc. or City of Leduc on or before Nov. 12, 2024.

Bylaw 1193-2024 – Proposed amendment to Land Use Bylaw 

  • Public notice for Bylaw 1193-2024 proposes redistricting an area in Creekside to allow for single detached dwellings, townhouses, and park space. 
  • Second and third readings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Nov. 4, 2024
