I couldn't find a way to save an audio track once I remove it from a video file. I would love to have, if it's not already implemented, a way to separate audio from a video (not necessarily remove the audio) and save it to a relevant audio format to a location I determine. This would be great for mocap facial recordings done with an iPhone but also need the audio track to match movements in my animation DCC. Many other uses, but that's probably what I use it the most for.
Describe the solution you'd like
I know Quicktime on Macs has separate audio and save as a one or two click option in the pulldowns, but I need this for Windows too. VLC has the ability to separate audio and save but it is way too many clicks to achieve and you have to rechoose the file in Explorer even if you are already viewing it.
It would great to have it natively in your app.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Possible solution is to have a "Save Audio" option in the Edit pulldown that has a file browser popup populate in a second window?
Thanks!
