Insurance Market in 2007 ─ Statistics Available
The Federal Office of Private Insurance FOPI has published its statistics for 2007. These statistics provide a comprehensive overview of the total accounts of all insurance undertakings under its supervision. 

 
Fact Sheet on Tied Assets
To secure the claims of insured parties, the insurance undertaking is required to establish sufficient technical provisions. These technical provisions must at all times be covered by the tied assets. Strict rules apply to investments of tied assets. The Federal Office of Private Insurance FOPI has issued a fact sheet on tied assets and on securing the claims of insured parties.
