Stacey Nicholas Office of Access and Inclusion
The Stacey Nicholas Office of Access and Inclusion (OAI) is a joint office between the Samueli School of Engineering and Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences charged with promoting and facilitating inclusion, diversity, equity and anti-racism within the schools. OAI’s mission is to recruit, retain and graduate talented students from historically excluded populations that are currently underrepresented in engineering and computing. OAI works toward this mission by providing academic, professional and social support for students. In addition, OAI strives to create a community where students feel comfortable discussing both the challenges and successes they experience while at UCI.
California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP) in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
The California Alliance for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, is a statewide initiative funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The objective of CAMP is to strengthen the quality and quantity of underrepresented students receiving baccalaureate degrees in Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics (STEM) at the University of California.
Mathematics Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA)
The Mathematics Engineering and Science Achievement program works with students from elementary schools all the way up to college. Some of the various activities that MESA participates in include student competitions, field trips and other science-related activities.

The UCI ADVANCE Program promotes institutional transformation toward gender equity by increasing the representation and advancement of women faculty across entire campus.
