On 24 March 2022, the EESC plenary assembly adopted the revised Rules of Procedure that came into effect on 1 June 2022.

On 28 January 2021, the EESC plenary assembly adopted the revised Code of Conduct of the EESC Members, that came into effect on 10 February 2021. [Press release].

The brochure entitled 'Respect and dignity at the EESC' provides a practical guide on respectful and ethical behavior at the EESC, on how to avoid situations of harassment and on whom to contact if necessary, including the Ethical Committee.

More clarity, greater financial transparency, strict rules on harassment and stronger sanctions for non-compliance. On 28 January 2021, the members of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) voted for major changes to their Code of Conduct. This is the first milestone in the reform of the Committee that the new EESC leadership is undertaking.
