Compendium – How Far Have we Come?: Dr. King's Legacy in the 21st Century

THE COMPENDIUM is a compilation of profound perspectives from scholars, historians, faith leaders and thought leaders on poverty, economic equality, labor, wages, education and faith during the National Civil Rights Museum's MLK50 Symposium on April 3, 2018. The focus is How Far Have We Come? since Dr. King’s assassination with a look at material advancements and insufficient progress since 1968.

 

The Poverty Report II

THE POVERTY REPORT II is a two-part initiative that involved commissioned research and presentations from two distinguished researchers, Dr. Elena Delavega of the University of Memphis and Dr. Amy Liu of the Brookings Institution. An important benchmark was looking at where society is today, especially in Memphis/Shelby County and comparable communities around the country.
