Become an Associate or Affiliate Member

If you are a faculty member at MIT, Harvard, or a Harvard-affiliated hospital, you can become an Associate or Affiliate Member.

Associate Members are faculty members of MIT, Harvard, or a Harvard-affiliated hospital. They are valued members and active participants in the Broad community and are eligible for internal seed funding. In some cases, they have laboratory space at the Broad.

Affiliate Members participate in regular scientific meetings, talks, presentations, and other events.

Become a Broad employee

Broad Institute is transforming biology and medicine through collaborative, cross-disciplinary research. To do this, we have created a unique community of amazing, creative people — “Broadies” — each with a passion for pushing scientific frontiers and improving human health.

Broadies have an array of talents, expertise, and backgrounds, creating a rich collaborative environment for solving intractable scientific problems. We are always looking for new team members in research, computational biology, software engineering, and administration to help us tackle important problems in health and medicine.
