New Mexico has one of the highest rates of child hunger in the country. Access to affordable health care and healthy foods are some of the most pressing issues facing rural communities. I am working to ensure New Mexicans have the resources they need to lead healthy lives, including by protecting and expanding programs such as SNAP. Reproductive health care is health care, and I’m committed to protecting that right.

Our service members and their families play a crucial role in our nation’s defense. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Vasquez is working to bring home results and investments for our service members, military families, and the communities that depend on well-funded military installations and research facilities. New Mexico is a critical component of our national security, and he is proud to represent our state and national interests.

New Mexicans are already feeling the effects of climate change. Rep. Vasquez is committed to protecting our public lands and finding smart solutions to ensure future generations can access clean air and water. New Mexico is a vital part of America’s agricultural sector. As a member of the House Agriculture Committee, Rep. Vasquez is working alongside them to support New Mexico’s agriculture economy in this year’s Farm Bill. He is also committed to protecting and expanding SNAP benefits, a lifeline for so many New Mexicans.
