When you turn on keyboard shortcuts, you can press keys to make changes to your Google Calendar and quickly navigate to certain pages.
Turn on keyboard shortcuts
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- In the top right corner, click Settings Settings.
- Check the box next to “Enable keyboard shortcuts.”
- At the bottom of the page, click Save.

You can now use Keep and Tasks in a side panel while using Calendar. To go to the side panel, use these shortcuts:
- Windows: Ctrl + Alt + . (period) or Ctrl + Alt + , (comma)
- Chromebook: Alt + Shift + . (period) or Alt + Shift + , (comma)
- Mac: ⌘ + Option + . (period) or ⌘ + Option + , (comma)
