The next COPE Forum for COPE Members will be held on 20 March 2025.

COPE Forums are held online throughout the year, providing the opportunity for COPE Members and COPE Council Members from around the world to review and give advice on Cases presented by Members, and discuss a current or emerging topic.

Submit your Case

COPE Members can bring their publication ethics issues to the COPE Forum for discussion and advice from COPE Council and COPE Members.

Cases are published on the COPE website, with advice given and follow up comments from the Member who submits the case.

Advice is specific to the particular case under consideration and may not necessarily be applicable to similar cases either past or future. The advice is given by COPE Council and COPE Members from across all regions and disciplines.
