MEMPHIS, Tenn., August 9, 2019 – inferno, a full-service advertising, public relations, design and digital marketing firm, has promoted Linda Corti to creative director, Derrick Alston to associate creative director and Jesse Wilcox to account executive. Corti and Alston report to Michael Overton, agency partner and chief creative officer, and Wilcox reports to Liza Routh, account supervisor.
“With almost 20 years of combined service at inferno, Linda and Derrick have been instrumental in our growth and success,” said Overton. “We look forward to leveraging their natural leadership skills to help elevate the talent and capabilities of our creative department. Additionally, Jesse has been a valuable member of the account service team for the past couple of years, and we are excited to see him grow in this new role.”
Since joining inferno in 2007, Corti has served as a creative leader within the agency. In her new role, she will assemble and manage the creative teams, tackling complex client projects and providing guidance and feedback to ensure excellence. Additionally, she will be responsible for ensuring the health of the agency’s high performance and collaborative culture by working with management teams across all departments, organizing creative activities, running group meetings, providing career guidance and conducting one-on-one meetings with staff.
Alston joined the agency in 2012 and previously served as senior art director. As associate creative director, he will help Corti lead creative teams to craft strategic, brand-compliant and visually-dynamic work. Alston will also be responsible for the development, direction, supervision and presentation of creative projects.
Wilcox joined inferno in January 2018 as junior account executive. In his new role, he will be responsible for the daily management of client projects, as well as interaction with the agency’s creative, public relations, interactive and production departments.
