These Terms & Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern your posting of content (including questions, answers, reviews, images, photographs, videos, audio, or any other created content, collectively referred to as "User Content”) in channels made available by Kohl’s ("Kohl’s,” "our,” "we,” or "us” refers to Kohl’s, Inc., its parent Kohl’s Corporation, as well as any of their respective present or future affiliates or subsidiaries, and any persons or entities (including agents, representatives, or employees) related to Kohl’s or its present or future affiliates or subsidiaries) and related to products sold by Kohl’s.

By posting User Content, you expressly agree to these Terms and Kohl’s Privacy Policy and Legal Notices. Kohl’s reserves its right to change these Terms, and our Privacy Policy and Legal Notices at any time without notice to you. We encourage you to review these Terms every time you submit User Content.

By submitting User Content to Kohl’s, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, rights of publicity and all other proprietary rights;
• You are not an employee or vendor of Kohl’s;
• All "moral rights" that you may have in such User Content have been voluntarily waived by you;
• All User Content that you post is accurate;
• You are at least 18 years old; and
• Kohl’s use of the User Content you post does not violate these Terms, will not cause injury to any person or entity, and will not infringe any third party’s rights, including but not limited to, trademarks, copyrights, rights of publicity or any other proprietary right.

You further represent and warrant that you shall not submit any User Content:

• That is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading;
• That infringes any third party’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights or rights of privacy;
• That violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
• That is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation;
• For which you were compensated or granted any consideration by any third party;
• That includes any information that references other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information or phone numbers; or
• That contains any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

You agree to indemnify and hold Kohl’s (and its officers, directors, agents, parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

For any User Content that you submit, you grant Kohl’s a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, sell, distribute, and display that User Content in any form and for any purpose whatsoever either through Kohl’s own services or services provided by third parties, throughout the world in any medium or technology now known or later developed and without restriction or limitation. You agree that your User Content may be used by Kohl’s (or others under Kohl’s direction) to create derivative works either alone or in conjunction with other content. You waive any right to inspect and/or approve the finished work incorporating your User Content or any content created by Kohl’s that may be used in connection therewith. You also waive any and all claims to payment, royalties or compensation in connection with Kohl’s use of your User Content.

All User Content that you submit may be used at Kohl’s sole discretion. Kohl’s reserves the right to change, condense or delete any User Content on Kohl’s website that Kohl’s deems, in its sole discretion, to violate these Terms, or Kohl’s Privacy Policy or Legal Notices. Kohl’s does not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Kohl’s to edit or delete any User Content you have submitted. Ratings and written comments are generally posted within two to four business days. However, Kohl’s reserves the right to remove or to refuse to post any User Content for any reason, including without limitation, failure to comply with these Terms. You acknowledge that you, not Kohl’s, are responsible for the User Content you submit. None of the User Content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Kohl’s.

Keep in mind the following:

• Keep content relevant. For example, make sure answers to questions actually address the question being asked. Consider including model numbers for clarity. Product reviews should have a connection to the product.
• Do not state or imply that Kohl’s endorses your User Content or that you are speaking on behalf of Kohl’s. If you have a material connection to Kohl’s, you should disclose it.
• Kohl’s does not sponsor, endorse or recommend any User Content, or any customer ideas, suggestions or advice.
• If you have a health or safety issue with your product, please contact us directly.
• If you submit your e-mail address or other contact information, you expressly authorize Kohl’s and its third-party service providers to use your contact information to contact you about the status or content of your User Content and for other administrative purposes.

We reserve the right to not post User Content for any reason, including, but not limited to, if it contains any of the following types of content or violates other guidelines or terms:

• Obscenities, discriminatory language, hateful comments, or other language not suitable for a public forum
• Advertisements, political campaigning, chain letters, or any other form of "spam"
• Foreign language
• Email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, physical addresses, or other forms of contact or sensitive information
• Critical or spiteful comments about other User Content posted or their authors
• Content that has no connection to the product or customer experience.
