Or rather, fix this. There is an open issue #2539 + several duplicating issues referenced in it. No one has fixed it so far, but PRs are welcome. |

Hi, a possible source of confusion that I encountered and others may also: "indentchar" is displayed for tab characters only, so when "tabstospaces" is true, the spaces are not shown, even if they are used for indentation. Suggest document this.
