What OS are you using (uname -a, or Windows version)?

Linux laptop 6.8.0-49-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Nov  4 02:06:24 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

What programming language are you using (C/C++/Go/Rust)?

Typescript

What did you expect to see and what you saw instead?

I expected the scrolling to be as snappy as in other apps (e.g., editor, browser, native apps), but instead it's quite slow and laggy.

Scrolling with touchpad. System essentially idle.
