<p><strong>Solid:技术、标准与生态</strong>是 W3C 中国发起的 “<a href="index.html">Web 进化论</a>“ 系列专题活动之一。</p>
<p>"Solid: Technologies, Standards and Ecosystem" is one of the serial events of the <a href="index.html">"WebEvolve"</a> open forum, initiated by W3C China.</p>

<h2>活动介绍 Introduction </h2>
<p>W3C 于2023年9月邀请全球会员及公众审阅 <a href="https://www.w3.org/2023/09/proposed-solid-wg-charter.html">Solid 工作组标准化章程草案</a>,正式开始筹备 Solid 在 W3C 的标准化工作,由此开启了一场关于 Solid 技术与标准的热烈讨论(参见 <a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377">GitHub 上的讨论详情</a>)。</p>
<p>In September 2023, the W3C started calling for global members and the public to review the <a href="https://www.w3.org/2023/09/proposed-solid-wg-charter.html">draft charter for the Solid Working Group</a>, with the mission to standardize the Solid Protocol and its use of associated data interoperability and authentication schemes. See <a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377">discussion on GitHub</a>.
<p>背景:Solid 英文全称为 Social Linked Data,是万维网发明人 Tim Berners-Lee 于2017年启动的基于 Web 的分布式项目,旨在“从根本上改变当今 Web 应用程序的工作方式,从而实现真正的(用户)数据所有权并提高隐私性”,具体实现方法是为关联数据应用程序(Linked-Data Applications)开发一个去中心化且完全处于用户控制之下的平台。参见 Tim 本人<a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377#issuecomment-1850361915">围绕 Solid 的技术观点</a>以及<a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377#issuecomment-1858204056">TAG 关于 Solid 标准工作组章程的审阅反馈</a>。</p>
<p>Solid (Social Linked Data) is a Web-based distributed project, initially launched in 2017 by Tim Berners-Lee. It aims to “fundamentally change the way how the web applications work today, and truly enable users' ownership of their data and improve privacy” by developing a platform for Linked-Data Applications which is decentralized and fully under users' control. See <a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377#issuecomment-1850361915">Tim's view</a> and <a href="https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/377">the TAG review feedback</a> on the draft charter. </p>
<p>那么,这样一个颠覆性的,要将数据的所有权完全还归于用户,重建数字世界的计划,所依托的具体技术到底包括什么?实践可行性如何?业界对这项技术的探索和前景观点又如何?我们将邀请该领域知名学者、行业资深专家以及业界同仁,通过“Web 进化论丨WebEvolve” 系列活动之 Solid:技术、标准与生态专题共同分享关于 Solid 的精彩观点。</p>
<p>What are the technologies related to Solid? How practical are they? What are the industry's views on the explorations and prospects on Solid? We are inviting experts from the industry, academia, standardization field and the web community to share their views on Solid through this event.</p>
<p>本次活动由 W3C 中国发起、由华为与文因互联协助举办,分享内容为中英双语。</p>
<p>The event is hosted by W3C/China, co-organized by Huawei and Memect. The discussion will be in Chinese and English.</p>
