I am an accomplished bioinformatician, computational biologist, and immunologist with over 10 years of research and development experience applying machine learning, statistical genetics, single cell genomics, and multi-omics integration to derive insights from complex biomedical datasets. My passion is developing opensource tools that make cutting edge bioinformatics analysis accessible to the wider scientific community.
My work has focused on unraveling mechanisms in hematologic malignancies, autoimmunity, and dysregulated immunity using a diverse array of computational techniques. My PhD and postdoctoral research projects involved extensive analysis of Single cell single-cell(sc) RNAseq, scCITE-Seq, scDNAseq, and scDNA-Protein-Seq and other omic datasets related to normal and malignant blood formation using Python and R.
Beyond developing new analytical strategies, I firmly believe in the importance of open science. I have made a strong commitment to sharing my work through repositories like GitHub so others may build upon it. A featured contribution is CellIdentifierDX, an algorithm that assists researchers without computational backgrounds to automatically annotate cell types from single cell RNA sequencing data. I am motivated by the vision of democratizing access to sophisticated bioinformatics so the wider community can leverage cutting edge techniques.
Please feel free to browse my repositories to see additional projects and tools I have authored. As someone passionate about realizing the full potential of computational biology to unlock new discoveries, I welcome collaborations with researchers aiming to push the boundaries of what is possible. Please reach out if you would be interested in partnering!
I also spend my entire free time to teach bioinformatics to the students across the world using the new establishment , called " Institute of Bioinformatics Elysium". Therefore, any sponsorship will be spent on purchasing resources including computational power and sponsorship of the students.
Please, feel free to donate at any amount.
