Is it technically possible to read/send sms using ip address using wammu ?.

With the example on stackoverflow, i could read sms in xml format after modifying few parameters.

These days there are plenty of inexpensive 4G LTE routers available with sms feature, would be nice if wammu can read and store them on local system.
