During the installation process, Battle.net crashes at the 45% mark and received the Battle.net error message "Getting the BLZBNTBTS0000005C error" Restarted computer and still having same trouble. This is a fresh install of Zorin OS and Bottles.

Same here. Fresh Fedora 40, both Gnome and KDE Spin. Also a fresh POP_OS install.

Hi @OneRound357-ux @ctrlalfsd3l @jwefers

I just looked into this, as I use (and have used for the last months) Battle.net daily with bottles without issues. I created a fresh bottle with the "Gaming" settings and installed Battle.net via "Install programs" without any hickup.

Can you check again if this problem still exists for you? I suspect it might have been resolved somehow since then and this issue could be closed.

BattleNet install still stalls at "Updating Battle.net Update Agent... (45%)". Arch Linux.

Edit: I was using an AUR package version of bottles. Uninstalling that and using flatpak fixed my issue.
