Recent emacs 25.3, most recent auto-complete in melpa. Adding ac-source-semantic but it still doesn't work:

My semantic settings should be correct as company with that works fine:

Can you take a look? auto-complete is more comfortable for me and now I have to use company mode for c/c++ buffers and auto-complete for other modes. Thanks!

Posting your configuration for auto-complete from your config file would be useful.

cedet semantic is its own (marginally maintained) can of worms.
