Upgrade Truenas with adguard on it to electric eel.
Expected result
Having a stable network. DHCP by router DNS by adguard.
Actual result
Ever since I update truenas to Electric eel. I have been having weird network problems. Some system not getting correct DNS. Dubbel IP adresses...
I think i tracked it down to adguard acting as a rogue DHCP server?
Faults happend wen adguard was active even if DNS was not handeld by it. Problems only stoped wen i deactivated adguard completly.
I do not have the DHCP functie of adguard active.
I have activated DHCP guard on my router (ubiquiti ultra). This seems to have the problem fix for now. Does this have negative effects?
Dont realy know if you can provided allot of help since i think i fixed it. But would be nice to have comfirmation my "fix" was good. Also just wanted to help with reporting a bug.
