The Edmonton Valley Zoo is home to more than 250 animals, focused on conservation, and offers fun and education for the whole family.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Between November 1-24, receive a free child admission with the purchase of every adult or senior admission. Explore amazing exhibits, meet incredible animals, and create lasting memories — all for the price of one ticket!

Hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday and holidays from 10am-4pm.

The last admission window is an hour prior to closing time. The zoo will be cleared at the closing time listed.
Annual members receive unlimited admission during regular public hours for a year from the date of purchase.

Gift cards can only be purchased in person at the Zoo. The gift card recipient must redeem their gift card in person to purchase a membership.

The Wild Edmonton family membership is valid for unlimited visits to both the zoo and John Janzen Nature Centre. Simply buy online then register your family members at Guest Services the next time you visit either attraction.
Valid for up to 7 people in the same household related by birth, legal status or marriage. Please bring a list of family members, birth dates and proof of address for adults.

The cafe offers espresso crafted beverages, tea, cold drinks, and blended drinks. Sandwiches are available as are many delicious cafe treats, along with non-coffee items including pop, juice, and lemonades.

A classic hot menu with lots of goodies available, including ice-cream novelties, fresh and bagged popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate bars, refreshments and even some healthy alternatives!

Location: Meltwater Play
Take a spin on the conservation carousel! Each of the carousel animals represents an endangered animal that calls the zoo home. All proceeds will be donated to conservation programs supported by the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Riders must be below 54 inches and 50 lbs. Learn more about the carousel at the Valley Zoo Development Society.
