Making adjustments to a portion of an image
- [Instructor] Previously, we've made global adjustments to our images, meaning that the adjustments have effected the entire photo. Now we're going to see how to use the masking tools in camera raw in order to make adjustments to selective areas in our images. So with these three images selected, I'll use command+R on Mac control+R on windows to open them in camera raw and select the river dot DNG file. I'm going to change the profile to Adobe landscape and click auto. Now that we've made some global adjustments, I'll click on the masking icon to all of the local adjustment tools. So there are two that are based on machine learning that select subject and select sky, we also have a paintbrush, a linear and radial gradient, and three different ways to select based on either color, luminance or depth range.
