- [Narrator] In this video, we will talk about connecting to the internet, and we're approaching this assuming you do have access to a network in your home or office or some other location, and you just need to connect your Mac to it. Now, as I start this video, my computer is not connected to the internet. If I open my web browser and try to go to a webpage, it tells me that I am not connected. Most people will connect to their network using Wi-Fi, which is a wireless connection. You can do that in Control Center. So near the top right, I'll click the button to open Control Center, and I'll click on the Wi-Fi option. At this point, do not click on the round button. Just click where it says Wi-Fi, and that will show a list of the available Wi-Fi networks in range of your computer. So you'll need to know the name of the network you want to connect to and find it on this list.
