- [Instructor] For this lens blur lesson, we'll use the image in the Chapter 7 07_08 folder. I selected the folder, and I'm viewing the image of my puppy Jameson in the develop module, and I've opened the lens blur here in the right side panel group. Lens blur is super simple to apply. Just click the Apply button, and Lightroom Classic will analyze the image. The first time you do this, it might take a little while to analyze it. I've run this before, so it was very fast. Lightroom Classic uses artificial intelligence to generate a depth map. In other words, it creates a 3D estimation of the image depth based on the content of the image, and the focus point is automatically applied to the subject. We see Jameson's face is in focus, and everything around it is a little bit soft. We can crank up the blur amount to see that even stronger. And I'll do a before and after with the visibility icon so we can see what's happening. These are different lens shapes for the shape of the bouquet…
