Create copyright metadata preset
- [Instructor] Importing is a good time to add some metadata information to your photos. We're going to create a copyright metadata preset so that we can add the information to the photos during the next import. But before we create the template, let's take a look at what metadata is. Metadata is simply information. In this case, it is a set of standardized information about photos. Digital cameras attached, some basic metadata, like the capture time and date and the image size capture settings, and even the camera and camera lens that captured it. We can see that in the metadata panel on the right hand side of the screen here. With lightroom, you can use this metadata to streamline your workflow and organize your files.
