Create and edit text
- [Instructor] You can add text to any image in Photoshop using one of the type tools, which are here in the toolbar. The text will be automatically put on its own layer, a special type layer, and it will remain editable so you can make changes to it at any time without disturbing the rest of your image. To learn how to create and edit text, let's start by making a couple of lines of text on the same layer. The first step is to select the type tool. I'll press this T icon in the toolbar and I'll choose the horizontal type tool which is the one you'll use most. You can choose options for your text even before you create it, and you can always change those later after you've created the text. Up in the options bar, I'm going to leave the font and the font style as they are for now and come over to the font size field here. By default, it's set to only 12 points which is so small that it's hard to see on many images so I'm…
