Clone over stubborn areas

- [Instructor] The clone stamp tool is basically a way to paint with content. This tool samples content from wherever you tell it to and then places that content down to cover up things that you don't want to see in your image. And it does that without blending the result into the surrounding area, like other retouching tools do, including the spot healing brush tool. Now, you can use this tool directly on your original photo, but it's always a good idea to work non-destructively. So, just like we did with the spot healing brush tool, let's make a new layer for cloning. We'll go down to the bottom of the layers panel and click the Add Layer button. And then let's name this layer cloning and make sure the cloning layer is selected. Then go up to the options bar for this tool and go to the sample menu and change that from Current Layer to Current and Below or All Layers. In this case, it doesn't matter because there's only one…
