Text Wraps
- [Instructor] Text wraps allow us to create a visual connection between text and image. Let's look at some issues that arise from using text wraps. If I select my image and then come to my text wrap panel, this is part of my custom workspace, if you don't see it, you'll find it under the window menu. So currently, no text wrap. If I wrap around bounding box, then that's what I get, it wraps literally around the box or frame that the image is in. So, in this case, I need to wrap around object shape. Now, the first time you choose that, it may still look like it's wrapping around the box. That's because we need to change, or you may need to change the contour options. This particular image has been masked in Photoshop using a layer mask, which in design, refers to as an Alpha Channel. So for the contour options, I need to choose Alpha Channel. Now, in addition, I also need to add in some offset because currently, the text is going too close to the image, so I'll just increase that…
