- [Instructor] Let's dive into what Auto Layout is all about. Imagine you are working on a design project in Figma, like a webpage or a mobile app screen. Auto Layout can help you create flexible and responsive designs, where all objects are automatically positioned and resized according to the certain screen sizes. I often think of Auto Layout as having my own smart assistant that takes care of manual tasks in my design workflow. Imagine this. You want to include more items in your list, and this can significantly influence your design layout. But with Auto Layout, you can make sure that your design elements are perfectly aligned according to each other without you having to spend countless hours manually adjusting them. In Figma, you can add Auto Layout to a frame or a selection of objects, and these objects are empty frames, frames that contain contents, components and component sets, and, of course, selection of layers and groups.
