- There is no one perfect resume. And a lot of different templates are effective and can make a great impression. With that said, this is my go-to template that I recommend for most people in their careers. And you can download it into Xray files. It's simple, clean, easy to read, and organizes your information in a way that allows the recruiters to instantly see what you're all about. Also, notice how this is a one-page resume. I recommend keeping a resume to one to two pages if possible. One is ideal if you have less than 10 years of experience, two is okay if you have 15, and maybe three if you have more than 20 plus. The goal for you is to keep your resume simple and concise. And if you are a student and don't have that much professional experience just yet, don't worry.
