About The Role
We are seeking a CEO to build and lead our GLP-1 business, taking full ownership of the P&L for this early-stage venture. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of launching and scaling businesses from the ground up. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive business strategy, oversee operations, and lead a cross-functional team in sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, regulatory affairs and product management. As the CEO, you will be responsible for overall business performance, ensuring the successful execution of strategies and achieving key financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Own the platform’s financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.
- Strategically manage the platform's supply and demand dynamics to maintain optimal balance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies to launch, scale, and optimize the platform.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless integration of technology, clinical services, and administrative functions.
- Lead and coordinate across sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, and product teams.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new market entry and service diversification, to drive business development and market share.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience with a combination of consulting, banking, early stage startups. Experience within healthcare, particularly in metabolic health or pharmaceuticals, is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing new business units, with a strong focus on healthcare and technology-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a cross-functional team.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a focus on driving business success.
- Exceptional financial management skills, including experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong passion for advancing healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered services.
- General management experience in a high-growth startup or a healthcare-related marketplace is highly preferred.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $230,000 - $250,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
