Administrative Assistant

Sligo Systems, a Weaver Companies entity, is a full-service systems integrator providing engineering services and fabrication of custom industrial automation and process systems for a wide range of applications in Municipal Solid Waste, Oil & Gas, and Water & Wastewater markets. As a nationwide supplier and innovator of specialized control systems, we are dedicated to supporting the solid waste industry. Our Visual Compliance Monitoring System (VCMS™) provides landfill operators access to critical processes from anywhere with an internet connection. Sligo clients are backed by access to 24/7/365 technical support and expedited spare part orders for pumping components. Project implementation involves a variety of equipment manufacturers, software packages, process, and network architectures, and includes HMIs, PLCs and associated components from all major OEMs.

We are looking for our next great Administrative Assistant to join our Team in our DeLand Office!

The Administrative Assistant performs tasks involving administrative support, office support, data entry, and business operations while supporting the Office Administrator and other staff members.

Position Responsibilities

You will share the following responsibilities with the Office Administrator, as needed:

  • Assist with back up with phone calls, messages, and fax messages
  • Assist with greeting and directing visitors, clients, and vendors in a pleasant manner
  • Assist in maintaining the office filing systems and efficiently files documents
  • Assist in entering time sheets and various production records into the accounting system
  • Enter Project Setup forms
  • Scans backup documentation and attaches to corresponding files
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, soda, coffee, and orders supplies as necessary
  • Maintain office copier and other equipment, as needed
  • Gather and distribute mail
  • Ship items, as necessary
  • Interface with building management, as needed
  • May provide word processing support
  • May interface with IT on computer inventory
  • Assist the Principal and other team members on projects, as needed

Position Qualifications

  • Two years professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Proficient in Adobe
  • Data entry experience required
  • Detail oriented and proficient at communication
  • Time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to respond to constantly changing priorities and quickly changing client needs is essential
