About the Role:

Paperless Parts is seeking a Director of Revenue Operations to join our team. In this role you will help drive the overall direction and strategy for the company’s revenue team, by aligning sales, marketing, services, and customer experience processes to meet and exceed KPIs and support the overall effectiveness and productivity of our customer-facing teams. This position reports to our COO/CFO. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, go-to-market process optimization, sales program implementation and sales & CS team compensation design and administration. The RevOps leader must foster close working relationships across the organization to ensure the Go-To-Market and CS teams’ efficient operation and success. This position is based in our Boston office and requires on-site work, on a hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze data related to sales, marketing, and customer success to gain insights into customer behavior, revenue trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Streamline and optimize the end-to-end revenue generation processes, from lead generation and sales operations to customer retention and upselling.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment between sales and marketing teams, ensuring that marketing efforts generate qualified leads that align with sales goals and priorities.
  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the Sales, Marketing, and Services organizations. Ensure planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed within the company.
  • Provide the sales team with necessary resources and tools to improve their effectiveness.
  • Establish and track KPIs for all revenue-related functions.
  • Partner with go-to-market leadership to identify opportunities for sales & marketing process improvements. Foster an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Oversee sales compensation plan administration. Establish variable compensation program rules, policies, and procedures. Ensure sufficient resources are assigned to adequately administer sales compensation programs. Work closely with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources to establish rules, policies, and procedures associated with variable compensation.


Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 10+ years’ experience in business, operational leadership roles in a global SaaS Sales environment
  • Experience implementing scalable and repeatable processes at a high-growth Series A to Series D startup, preferred
  • Competency in Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator
  • Dedicated people manager with demonstrated leadership in building diverse, cross functional and high performing teams while delivering results
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without authority
  • Experience in crafting strategic vision, making data-driven business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and innovating and scaling solutions
  • Proven track record of success with a history of establishing customer retention and expansion sales goals
  • Extensive experience engaging at an executive level internally with cross-functional groups
  • Demonstrated passion for operations, data intelligence, enablement and thorough understanding of cross-functional alignment in a global environment
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced and ever changing environment.
