Position Description
Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Knowledge Management and Systems Office (KMSO) within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) at the Department of Energy (DOE). The Task Lead Project Manager will perform a variety of support functions to support the office Director and the overall operations of KMSO.
Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide administrative support and coordination for the KMSO Director with tasks that include:
- Calendar management,
- Creating complex travel arrangements and vouchers using the EERE travel booking system
- Preparing reports and making recommendations for actions
- Monitoring emails for priority deadlines and proactively assist with identifying and resolving problems that could impact project goals.
- Assisting with meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting notes presentations and invitations
- Support the development of strategies, program plans, initiatives, and budgets that provide a comprehensive, integrated, and complimentary suite of KMSO activities
- Support the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and webinars by providing scheduling, logistics, technical, and other support as needed
- Review workforce reports, milestones, and deliverables for discussion with federal leadership
- Review comms materials and work with comms team to ensure timelines
- Support teams in preparing quarterly review meetings
- Coordinate meetings, communications, and deliverables across team members and internal stakeholders
- Responsible for supporting day-to-day activities and workflow of sub-office teams
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform both as an individual contributor as well as a member of the diverse KMSO team
- Ability to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure all major priority items are accomplished on time and according to plan
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and urgent requests
- High attention to detail
- Experience obtaining, verifying, and evaluating general and quantitative information
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Teams and Excel
- Working knowledge of computer software utilized in project/program data collection and analysis
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Experience including managing a cross functional team, subtasks, budget, and schedule
- B.S. or B.A. in a related discipline and ten (10) years of experience performing work applicable to function and responsibilities described
- Masters’ degree and eight (8) years of experience
- Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
- $70,000.00 to $74,000.00/annually
