The Opportunity: This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of a recently acquired company that is entering a hyper growth phase. The company was recently acquired by two long time top executives working in companies like Microsoft, LinkedIn, Electronic Arts and Unity. This role is an opportunity to work side-by-side with them.


Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will develop and implement HR processes and practices to support our turnaround efforts. This hands-on role will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive work environment and enhance the overall employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:


HR Infrastructure Development:

  • Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with company goals.
  • Develop onboarding, training, and development programs.
  • Manage HR documentation to ensure compliance with employment laws.


Employee Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Address employee concerns and guide conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


Benefits Management:

  • Manage and enhance the benefits program, including the recent rollout and renewal processes.


Onboarding:

  • Develop and manage new hire orientation and onboarding programs.


Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.


HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and track HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (not necessarily in HR).
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Desire to build a long and successful career in HR.
