As a Technical Program Manager at Guidacent, you will play a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology solutions. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, navigate technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Lead project teams in executing against these plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and managing expectations.
- Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and marketing.
- Understand technical challenges and provide guidance to teams in resolving issues.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure alignment between project goals and technical capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Champion best practices in program management, contributing to the overall maturity of project management processes within the organization.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery within financial constraints.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure appropriate staffing levels and skillsets for project needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a similar role within the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
