The Human Capital Management Business Management function is responsible for oversight of divisional financial goals, including the management of departmental budgets and expenses, invoice processing and escalations, contractual due diligence, contingent onboarding and maintenance, space and office management, as well as business continuity policy adherence.


To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems, have the ability to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a succinct and accurate communicator, and be attentive to details.


Principal Responsibilities:

> Coordinate global HCM budget and forecasting process focused on delivering the greatest value to the business

> Produce regular reporting to senior management regarding operating costs including identification of potential challenges

> Work cross-functionally to implement long-term strategic business plans in line with divisional goals and resources

> Serve as point of contact for internal stakeholders in key areas of HCM regarding management of financial expenditures

> Build and maintain relationships across HCM, Finance, Sourcing, Technology and other divisional counterparts

> Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting and Analysis, including preparation of business metrics for Senior Stakeholders

> Budget projections, tracking to financial/headcount targets and communicating results to the supported businesses.

> Risk and Opportunity tracking to ensure effective use of resources (both heads and dollars) across the organization.

> Overseeing standard cyclical processes such as changes to allocations, risk and opportunity tracking, Headcount reconciliations/changes.

> Senior Management presentation/documentation support throughout the year (examples, weekly executive summary, Headcount reporting, Annual Business Review, Budget/Forecast summary).

> Problem solving, Data Analysis and ad hoc work coordinated across different sub silos as needed.

> Administer global allocation assignment methodology for intra-divisional services and communicate to key stakeholders in each business, as needed


Qualifications:

> 4-6 years work-related experience

> Work effectively in cross-functional teams, having demonstrated strong partnerships with both internal and external business partners and alliances

> Expense Management experience including budgeting & financial reporting

> Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

> Ability to adapt existing skills in a new environment quickly.

> Accuracy and attention to detail is fundamental to being successful in role.

> Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

> Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills who able to balance multiple priorities in a fast changing environment

> Succinctly communicate ideas, recommendations orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences, as well as exceptional listening and presentation skills

> Successful candidate will have a roll up your sleeves can do mindset


Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
