Position Summary:

Octapharma USA is searching for a Regional Sales Director, Hospital Accounts – South to join our team. The Regional Director, Hospital Accounts is responsible for providing tactical sales direction and leadership to the Hospital Sales Representatives in their region to achieve national sales objectives as outlined by the VP Sales. They are responsible for hiring and developing, as well as coaching to success, the sales team to ensure a positive experience for the customer and successful promotion of the portfolio. The Regional Director, Hospital Accounts must work seamlessly with the cross functional teams (National Accounts, Commercial Development, Medical Affairs, Training Manager, and Patient Experience Director) as well as the Vice President, Sales in implementing training and developing business plans that support the execution of the brand plan. The Regional Director, Hospital Accounts is responsible for first line management and hiring for their region along with coaching and training their team. The Regional Director, Hospital Accounts is responsible for ensuring that his/her team achieves quota for all portfolio products. The Regional Director, Hospital Accounts must have a proven track record of leading a high performing team as well as be able to provide valuable and insightful field intelligence on a consistent basis. This position will be responsible for the territory of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.


Requirements:

  • Must be located in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas or Atlanta, Georgia
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA degree preferred
  • 2+ years hospital management experience with demonstrated success in driving accountability for meeting sales objectives.
  • Previous sales experience in rare disease, biologics, buy and bill, and specialty drugs is preferred.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • CRM experience with Salesforce a plus

Octapharma USA Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $180,000 to $200,000; however, unexpected and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits, including parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
