The Loyalty Marketing Manager will provide oversight of the PENN Playprogram with guests, team members, and outside partners to promote extraordinary guest service and encourage membership into the PENN Play program. Will manage communication of the benefits and program and participates in promotional events and activities. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations while supporting PENN's vision, mission and values. Responsible for managing a wide variety of aspects of the PENN Play loyalty program including marketing, systems support, property support, team member and guest communication for the organization. Project management of various existing and new initiatives as they develop to enhance the offerings and support of the PENN Playprogram.

  • Responsible for supporting the Director of Loyalty and Partnerships with the long-term growth, strategy, and day-to-day operation of the PENN Play. This includes but not limited to campaigns and promotions for the entire Company. Ensures all collateral for program, digital, and print are updated and distributed to all properties.
  • Responsible for developing and executing all training relating to PENN Play, including but not limited to promotions, social media campaigns, and changes to current program.
  • Leads training, promotions, partnership relationships and the relationship between iGaming (Penn Interactive Ventures) and the PENN Play
  • Assists Director in leading changes in leading changes related to the PENN Playprogram for the entire Company. Develops and executes strategic plan to grow total followers and interaction with Penn’s social pages, as well as monetize the social media outlets.
  • Serves as the liaison between the Company and select third-party partners. Serves as primary lead for communication with those select partners and executes strategy to maximize and derive the most value from partnerships.
  • Completes ad-hoc projects as necessary to explore additional opportunities for PENN Playprojects include, but are not limited to, exploring new partnerships, gathering and analyzing information from internal sources, or generating reports showing the effectiveness of company-wide practices and programming. Makes suggestions for improvements based upon project findings.
  • Responsible for administrative office tasks such as developing, planning, and executing marketing support services and activities.
  • Processes marketing invoicing and contracting for the department.
  • Develops creative briefs, rules and regulations and other documents for PENN Playand is primary point of contact for agencies and properties for promotions.
  • Responsible for driving compliance with promotion timelines from the concept phase through implementation.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with property marketing partners. Facilitates tracking of initiatives and collection of information.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulations within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in marketing or related area; two to four years of related marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Marketing experience preferred. Gaming experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience using Microsoft Excel to generate summary results from large datasets if preferred.
  • Must have advanced skills in web copy and managing large scale, social media accounts. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to drive toward results.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
