Job Title: Contract Lawyer/ Legal Counsel

Location: Chantilly, Virginia (In office 100%).

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Benefits Eligible.

Compensation: Determined by experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Lawyer with up to two years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in contract law in a sports industry setting. The successful candidate will assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. This Lawyer will also serve as in-house counsel for Golfzon America Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including but not limited to, service agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sales contracts, construction contracts, and vendor contracts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support contract development and negotiation.
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and standard forms.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, and address any issues that arise.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in contract law and relevant industry practices.
• Liaise with the Global HQ legal team on other tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Virginia or eligibility for admission.
• Up to two years of experience in contract law
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and practices.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with contract management software.
• Experience with entertainment law, sports management, construction, and or Golf industry regulations
• Golf or sports industry experience is a plus
